Butterfly effect - MTW April Main Challenge

Hi sweet friends!

It's April here and with it is also the Main Challenge in More Than Words!

Our Main Challenge is based on a word inspiration - NATURE and a creative challenge - ANIMAL

For me, NATURE symbolizes freedom and breath of relief. I therefore chose to make a layout with pictures of butterflies which I really love because they are amazing creatures of the ANIMAL kingdom.

They have always intrigued me.

How from their cocoon they become so spacial and beautiful. How is it that even though they are considered 'bugs' in nature, it is very rare that people are disgusted by them.

Do you know that they usually only live for 3 weeks? But, they go through so much in that short period of time.They go through a special process that gives me a lot of inspiration in life.

Tea Time - mixed media frame

 Hi crafty friends!

Today I'm here with home decor project using DIY custom glitter. Let me show you how to make a frame inspired by "the Time" and the gold and copper colors I've found useful in several variations in a lot of projects.

sometimes it seams to me that the worlds is divided into people who drink coffee and people who drink tea, I'm a tea person :)

 It gives me the feeling of home and warmth and I even enjoy watching how the tea paints the water. I'm just a color lover in every way!

Lindy’s has an amazing metallic effect in some of the shimmer colors, which is why I used the spray Cowabunga Copper & Opal Sea oats in different ways, to get the amazing effects you see in this project!!

 One way, was on a flower stamp and when it dried out the result was very similar to Rose Gold Foil!!

Another beautiful way, is to create glittering colors with these sprays.  I’ll show you how in the video.

I LOVE shabby chic and Dusty Attic products so much, so when I saw Dusty Attic -March Challenge,  I knew I had to participate!

So here I am today with a shabby chic canvas inspired by their beautiful moodboard.

My main inspiration is the shabby chic theme, the colorfulness and lots of flowers.

Spiral galaxy notebook

Hi crafty friends!

Today I'm on the blog with cool project that I made with super gorgeous Lindy's Starburst Sprays.

I love to use them on black gesso because the cool shimmer effect, so I tried to create a galaxy look and I'm really happy to show you in the tutorial video the result - my new spiral galaxy notebook.

Lord of the ring canvas

Hi guys!

Today I'm here to share with you my project for Mixed Media and art blog-March challenge as a Guest Designer.
This month the moodboard amazed me and gave me so much inspiration & ideas, so finally decided to create a canvas focusing on what caught my eye first - the word "TRILOGY" reminding me of my favorite trilogy of all time - The Lord Of The Ring.

I took a picture of Galadriel which is a royal elf (A fictional character from the fantasy world). She is a woman who has powers, wisdom and purity that very connected me to the atmosphere of the moodboard and connect with her character in person as well.  I was also inspired by the colorfulness and elements that made me create a mysterious magic forest. So much enjoyed creating this project!

Hello Deer

Hi crafty friends!

Today I'm here to share with you a mixed media frame colored with Lindy's, with real deer inside it..
well not quite real, just a toy I robbed from my kids :)

I'm soooo happy Spring is here in a minute! LOVE this season and finally can officially play with colors in a springy atmosphere of Lindy's.

Here Step By Step with all the process:

I chose a combination of green, purple and pink by using on Sprays Prima Donna Purple, Sea Mint Green and Embossing Powders Oom Pah Pah Pink & Geranium Coral Blush
